VOLUNTEERS from The Turning Tides Project have recently painted fencing at Blagdon in Crediton.

An appeal had been previously launched in the "Crediton Courier" asking for volunteers to help with the painting.

Mike Szabo, Crediton co-ordinator of “It’s Your Neighbourhood" Britain In Bloom South West competition said: "The Town Council bought the materials and supplied the brushes and the volunteers worked in shifts to complete the task.

The work was completed ahead of recent "It’s Your Neighbourhood" judging.
