CREDITON Area History and Museum Society recently had some melamine trays manufactured which feature seven local scenes to illustrate our great local history from the Crediton area.

The trays are now for sale in a number of outlets in the town.

David Nation, chairman, Crediton Area History and Museum Society, said: "These trays will be a unique and constant reminder to local people of how the town has been during the last 150 years or so.

"As you know, the museum remains closed for the second year due to the pandemic so our income from donations and sales has reduced considerably and we are hoping that profit from the sale of these trays will help us deal with that.

"We are extremely grateful to several local outlets, Adams Home Hardware, A E Lee’s Outfitters and the Crediton Community Bookshop, for agreeing to sell the trays on our behalf.

"If anyone is unable to visit those stores and would like one, they are welcome to contact me on 01363 774441 or by emailing: [email protected] and arrangements can be made."
