A MOTORCYCLIST and a motorist were taken to hospital after a three-vehicle collision on the A3072 near Creedy Bridge, Shobrooke.

The incident happened at about 10am on Saturday, September 12.

It involved a silver Ford Mondeo, a yellow Honda motorcycle and a white Suzuki Vitara.

The motorcyclist was taken to the Royal Devon and Exeter Hospital by land ambulance with minor injuries.

Another casualty was taken to hospital by land ambulance.

Police closed the road to allow colleagues from the emergency services to deal with the incident.

Two fire appliances from Crediton and a rescue vehicle from Exmouth also attended.

The fire crews used environment packs to make the area safe.

• A Devon Air Ambulance made a second visit to Crediton later that day to take a man to hospital.

The air ambulance landed at "The Rec" off Exhibition Road at about 4pm.

An ambulance took the man to the playing field from an address in Crediton.

Police also attended this incident.
