TAW Valley Creamery in North Tawton has achieved notable success at the Royal Bath and West Show, winning an outstanding 11 awards.

This included three gold awards for its Mature Cheddar, Mild Cheddar and Reduced Fat Cheese and two trophies – the Black Diamond Challenge Trophy for the best film-wrapped English Cheddar block and the Chris Braund Memorial Trophy for the best prepared block cheese.

The creamery, part of the UK's leading integrated dairy business, Milk Link, also scooped four silver awards in the Red Leicester, Organic Cheddar, Mature Cheddar and Totally Open categories.

A further two bronze awards were won in the Danisco Grand Prix and Identical Pair of Cheddar Cheese categories.
