AT the recent QE Education Foundation meeting Trustees expressed their appreciation of the work of Mike Armstrong for whom it was the last appearance as Clerk to the Trustees. Mike has been a pillar of strength and a most effective Clerk since he accepted the role in 2004 and the Trustees were sorry that his many work commitments meant that he had decided to reduce his work load. Representatives of the Trustees are pictured alongside Mike in this photograph. A barometer bearing a commemorative plaque was presented to him by Dr John Boyle (left), a past Chairman of the Foundation. Photo: Mike Palmer
