TESCO has announced it is to open its new store in Crediton on Monday, December 7, eight weeks ahead of schedule.

Tesco spokesperson, Juliette Bishop, told the Courier: "The construction programme for the new Tesco store has progressed really well and as a result our timetable has been reduced and we will now be able to open the store earlier than originally planned and in time for the busy Christmas period."
