TEDBURN St Mary Football Club hosted its second two-day youth football tournament at its Barley Park ground and, as last year, it could not have gone better.

The weather was fine on Saturday and Sunday, June 27 and 28, with more than 150 teams taking part over the two days.
Hundreds of youngsters played and it was well organised with many volunteer helpers, referees, administrators, people serving food and drinks and co-ordinators.

There was a raffle for a signed Lionel Messi shirt, which was on display.
Copplestone Cobras U9’s were crowned champions of the Tedburn football tournament.

Their final against Totnes was a 0-0 draw to which they succeeded in a second penalty shootout to take the victory having done the same in the semi-final against Exmouth.
