SANDFORD Community Stores are marking their 20th year of trading with a series of exciting celebrations and fundraising events.

The Mad Hatter Tea Party took place in the parish hall, which was transformed into an exciting and extravagant dining room worthy of Lewis Carroll!

A transformation with themed displays, bunting and table decorations created a magical atmosphere!

Home-made cakes, scones and freshly made sandwiches made by the wonderful team of shop volunteers were dished out with a nice cuppa.

The hat competition had fabulous entries from all ages and prizes for the most fabulous creations were dished out, along with raffle prizes donated by local suppliers and producers.

It was a lovely well-attended community occasion with friends old and new meeting up and having a mad natter!
