RELUCTANTLY, due to non-attendance, Oasis, the support group for carers in the Crediton area, has closed down.

One of the members explained that on the last four occasions no-one had attended the support group sessions and for this reason the trustees decided that it was no longer viable to keep the group going.

The group, in the past, had been particularly helpful to those who cared for people suffering from dementia.
