Library Supervisor, Sue Lee, said: “It was lovely to see so many people enjoying the sunshine and browsing the plants and produce.

“The Garden Club transformed the Crediton Library Community Garden decking into a refreshment area with chairs and tables making it such a relaxed social area.

“Many thanks to all who helped with the event and to the Garden Club for donating some leftover plants to the Crediton Library Community Food Larder.”

Crediton Garden Club meets monthly on the fourth Tuesday between September and April at 7.30pm at Crediton Library.

It has a variety of interesting speakers talking about a range of gardening topics. In the summer months, members visit local gardens.
