TWO Year 12 Law students from Queen Elizabeth’s School in Crediton, Danni Phillips and Abby Carpenter, attended a Law Information Day at Oxford University last month.

The students travelled up the evening before and stayed at Keble College.

They said: “The college was beautiful and we were particularly impressed by the dining hall where we had our breakfast - it looked like Hogwarts!”

Both students found the Law Information Day immensely interesting and Danni said: “It gave us an insight into studying Law at university and to the many opportunities that are available, some of which we had not previously considered.

“There was lots of useful information about admissions, the interview process and the teaching methods used at Oxford.”

Both Abby and Danni are currently revising for their AS Law exams and both hope to take Law on to A2 at Queen Elizabeth’s outstanding Sixth Form College.
