THIS year’s Sandford Scarecrow Trail, held each year in aid of Sandford School, started on Saturday, July 30 and runs until Sunday, September 11.

The Scarecrow Trail makes a great summer holiday activity and this year, the theme is “Monarchy Past and Present”.

Trail maps, with fun challenges, are available for £4 from Sandford Community Stores during opening hours (card payment preferred).

Sandford Stores is open, Monday to Friday, from 8.30am to 5.30pm (closed from 1pm to 2pm), Saturday from 8.30am to 12.30pm and Sunday from 10am to 12 noon.
