I AM sure the Mid Devon District Council have managed to delude themselves that changing the parking fees in St Saviour’s Way car park from £1 for 5 hours to £2 for 10 hours does not represent an increase.

If you are only parking for an hour, though, as many people probably are, it’s more expensive than Exeter.

I’ll be looking for another farmers’ market to support - somewhere where people are encouraged to shop and eat.
