ST Boniface Vet’s held a coffee morning at the Crediton surgery on November 6, which raised £117.94 for the charity “Send a Cow”.

“Send a Cow” is a force for change in rural Africa and helps people to grow their own futures, on their own land, on their own terms.

The charity’s African-designed solutions helps families get back the skills and confidence they need so they can grow enough food, earn a living and go after their dreams.

£10 could provide the necessary seeds, material and training for a family to grow a sustainable supply of coffee plants.

£42 could pay for a gardening kit including a spade, watering can, welly boots for a peer farmer trainer, so they can help coffee farmers in their community get growing.

£100 could provide the necessary seeds, materials and training for 10 families to grow a sustainable supply of coffee plants.
