TEDBURN St Mary Football Club's secretary for 25 years, Karen Scott, received a special award on behalf of Devon and Exeter League from the League secretary, Chris Davey, on her retirement.
The award was made during the club's presentation evening at the Kings Arms, Tedburn. Awards were presented by club chairman Ian Parsons.
First team player of the year was James Brewer, its player's player was Simon Durrant. The second team player of the year was Lee Rundle and its player's player was Aiden Kelly-Davis.
Richard Carter and Terry Hatt were the most improved players. Manager's special awards went to Justin Kerswell-King and to Ed Willoughby.
The chairman's award was won by Pete Spooner and the clubman of the year was Geoff Harbor. The club is looking forward to next season. Training is at Barley Park every Thursday from 6.45pm. Players old and new will be warmly welcomed. To know more contact either 0789 600 2368 or 0796 643 0415.
