PUPILS and staff at Landscore Primary School enjoyed World Book Day on Thursday, March 3.  They were invited to dress up as a book character and there were some amazing costumes.

Pupils have been studying Amazing Authors as their topic for the half-term and staff in Team Two got into the spirit, all dressing up as Jungle Book characters.

Cruella DeVille walked the corridors mixing with Hetty Feather, Harry Potter, Princess Mirrorbelle and Bear Grylls to name a few.

Pupils also had the opportunity to listen to staff reading from some of their favourite books, and The Bookery visited with its travelling bookshop.
