FOUR Sixth Form maths students from Crediton’s Queen Elizabeth’s School have been congratulated on having successfully negotiated all manner of obstacles to win the seventh version of A Wright Palaver contest.
The competition is designed for the most able Sixth Form mathematicians and saw Matt Goodman, Anna Kersey, Reuben Taylor and Jonas Hackney-Davies work closely together as a team through intense rounds of challenging activities.
First up was a round of orienteering, where the students raced around the school solving puzzles, a relay of problems, where they worked in pairs against the clock and finally a huge board game, where they are the pieces, trying to avoid a horrible end at the hands of Frankenstein’s monster!
Great fun was had by all!
