CREDITON Community Bookshop will welcome the return of its patron Sir Michael Morpurgo on Saturday, December 14, at 7pm, at Crediton Congregational Church.

Michael will be reading from his new book, “Boy Giant”, described by Harper Collins, the books’ publisher, as a story of hope, humanity and high-seas adventure for children and adults.

In the book, war has forced Omar and his mother to leave their home in Afghanistan and venture across the sea to Europe.
