THE sudden death of a 13-year-old, who attended Queen Elizabeth’s School in Crediton, has been announced tonight, Wednesday, February 28, by the school principal, Rupert Poole.
In a statement to parents and carers, Mr Poole explained: “It is with great sadness and regret that I am writing to inform you about the death of a Year 8 student, Harry Wilson.
“Harry was a delightful young man and we are all shocked and saddened to hear of his sudden death at home this morning. We understand the death to be from natural causes.”
He continued: “Please contact the school if you would like to discuss particular concerns about your child.
“I would like to reassure you that advice on dealing with bereavement will be available to our students and the wider school community.
“Please do not hesitate to contact the school if you have any concerns or would like further information, advice or guidance.
“Our deepest condolences to Harry’s family and friends.”
