A SERIOUS road traffic collision occurred at Lapford on the A377 road between Crediton and Barnstaple at about 10.05pm last night, Friday, May 14.

Two vehicles were involved in what police describe as a "head-on collision", after which the road was blocked.

Police said both vehicles contained two occupants.

WITNESSES SOUGHT

Officers from the Police Roads Policing Team attended the scene to investigate.

Anyone with any information that may help with the investigation into the incident is asked to call the Police on 101, quoting log number 1039 of May 14.
