THIS year’s Sandford Craft Fair, which is now in its 31st year, will be held on Saturday, November 19, from 12 noon to 4pm in the Parish Hall.

There will be more than 35 stalls all selling quality locally hand-made arts, crafts and gifts.

Organiser Bindy Saywood, is pleased to announce that this year Sandford Spirits, the village WI, will be having a stall where they will be taking orders for their popular Christmas cakes and wreaths.

Sandford School PTA (FOSS) and Sandford Playgroup, will be raising funds by providing the lovely lunches, refreshments, and a team of volunteers; the stage area will be dedicated to popular children’s craft activities.

Each year Bindy aims to include an extra fundraising focus. This year funds raised will be to support a local Sandford boy with severe physical and learning difficulties, and in particular his mum, who is taking positive action to make changes to their own lives by training and gaining qualifications (in the USA) to support her son and also other children with special needs.

The family have made a short video which is on their fundraising page: www.youcaring.com/keir . Anyone who chooses to donate online is asked to please mention hearing about it via the craft fair.
