THERE was a "Safari" theme to this year's Hayward's Primary School Summer Fair, held at the school.

There was a special guest appearance by "Jungle Jim" and a Children's Safari Mask Parade, which was judged by "Jungle Jim".

Attractions included St Boniface Veterinary Practice with exotic animals, a Crediton fire engine, Kyrton Archers, "Mr Pepper", a barbecue, many stalls, chocolate apples, coconut shy and animal tattoos.

There was a lucky safari dip, safari sweet stall, face painting, Gorilla Treasure Hunt and much more.
