Drivers in and around Mid Devon will have four National Highways road closures to watch out for this week.

And one of them is expected to cause moderate delays – with motorists facing a wait of between 10 and 30 minutes.

The latest expected works list, with notes from National Highways, shows that one closure already in place is expected to carry on this week:

M5, from 9am July 18 2022 to 11.59pm August 29 2027, slight delays (under 10 minutes): M5, junction 28 to 29 hard shoulder closure in both directions for parapet works.

And a further three closures will begin over the next two weeks:

A30, from 8pm June 11 to 4am June 12, slight delays (under 10 minutes): A30 both directions Woodleigh lane closures for barrier repairs.

A30, from 7pm June 12 to 6am June 14, slight delays (under 10 minutes): A30 westbound, Woodleigh to Whiddon Down carriageway closure for road markings, diversion via old A30 through Crockernwell.

M5, from 9pm June 24 to 6am June 25, moderate delays (10-30 minutes): M5 northbound, junction 28 to 27 carriageway closure for technology works, diversion via B3181 to junction 27.

National Highways is responsible for maintaining motorways and major A-roads, so closures of smaller roads will not be included in their schedule.
