AN urgent road closure was put in place in Peoples Park Road in Crediton on Tuesday, December 8, at the request of Mid Devon District Council’s dangerous structures team.

The closure is outside a property called Glanrafn, about 60 metres from the junction with Deep Lane, due to the unsafe state of a wall which is believed to be close to collapse.

Crediton Town Council said it has been told that it is hoped that the wall will be made safe as soon as possible and the road closure removed until a plan of action is made to fully rebuild the wall.
