MOTORISTS are advised that the A396 road from Bickleigh to Tiverton is closed outside the Trout Inn at Bickleigh due to a burst water main.

The road was closed at 4pm this afternoon, Sunday, July 16 to allow repairs to be completed.

Devon County Council has put a diversion in place and advise motorists to allow extra time for their journey.

No completion time for the works has been announced.
