QUEEN Elizabeth’s School in Crediton and some local primary schools have announced a delay to school opening times for tomorrow, Tuesday, January 6.

Qe School said: “In light of the overnight forecast, we have taken the decision to delay opening until 10am tomorrow, for all students.

“This is so we can assess the safety of the school sites and allow extra time for travel.

“We are aware some students may arrive later than 10am, due to transport issues. They will be registered when they arrive and should report to Main Reception.

“School bus updates will be posted on the DCC transport website, so please check for updates in the morning: https://www.devon.gov.uk/schools/school-and-route-closures/

“It is anticipated that services will serve main road bus stops only (with a 10am start time in mind) but they will update the DCC website with further details, in the morning.

“The 668 Public service has issued a pre warning that it is not likely to run tomorrow.

“Please travel safely.”
