MEMBERS of Cheriton Fitzpaine Rainbows and Brownies are pictured following their parade into St Matthew’s Church, where the village war memorials are situated for the annual remembrance day service. The Union flag bearer is Tawny Owl, Lynda Rolle, and the Brownie flag was carried by Holly Skinner whose grandmother’s uncle was among those remembered. Another Brownie, Serena Heard, read the words “at the going down of the sun and in the morning, we will remember them”. The service was lead by Revd Canon Michael Hall (pictured back left).
