A CREDITON man, who lives next door to the recently-opened “Vote to Leave the EU” “pop-up” shop on Crediton High Street says he is “disappointed” that balloons he is putting up at his doorway are being taken down.

Reg Barker explained: “I have put up my own balloon display promoting caring for the environment and human rights to be considered and 15 times my balloons have been taken down or burst.

“I don’t know who is doing it but I want to promote my ‘green’ point of view with my balloon display.

“I feel it is trying to stop my freedom of speech.”

Balloons and banners are on display at the “Vote to Leave the EU” “pop-up” shop.
