CHILDREN at Landscore Primary School in Crediton raised the fantastic sum of £4,226.13 for the children's charity, NSPCC, by taking part in sponsored sporting and dance activities. The children attained different badges for the levels of fitness and fundraising. Buddy, the charity's speech bubble, did an assembly to raise awareness and at a following assembly a few weeks later, the cheque for the charity was presented to Roisin Turley, NSPCC schools organiser for Devon and Cornwall (back right), by Head Teacher Gary Read, Assistant Head Linda Williamson and some of the children.
