By Nora ParminterA CHARITY car wash, held at Crediton Fire Station, raised more than £500 for The Fire Fighters Charity.

The charity provides a service that enhances the quality of life for serving and retired firefighters, fire personnel and their families.

The firefighters were supported by cadets from Crediton Detachment Army Cadet Force.

To help with the car washing Crediton Tesco at Wellparks donated sponges.
