A VERY pleasant afternoon was spent at Spreyton’s Annual Cream Tea to raise much-needed funds for the Children’s Hospice South West.
Delicious scones and cream and various sponges were on offer.
The afternoon was organised by Hilary Elston who was assisted by a team of helpers in the kitchen, taking money, doing the draw and running the produce and bric-a-brac stalls.
The representative from Children’s Hospice South West was Angela who thanked all those who had come along and supported this cause and spoke of how every penny counts in helping such short lives and supporting their families.
The total amount raised was £375.
