SEVERAL months ago the Rev Alison Richardson, Crediton Methodist Church Minister, was given a large quantity of pre-loved clothes from a shop that was closing down.

There was a quantity of gentlemen's suits and ladies designer clothes including Giorgio Armani, Jacques Vert and Yves Saint Laurent.

During a regular Saturday Coffee morning at Crediton Methodist Church on January 21, Alison took the clothes for people to try on and purchase for a donation, raising £35 for church funds.

There were several designer evening dresses which will be ideal for students to wear at school proms. These have been donated to a charity shop in the town.

The rest of the clothes have been taken to Silverton Methodist Church where Alison will be holding a Pop-Up shop on Saturday, January 28.

It was lovely to have several people come who do not usually attend our regular coffee mornings from 10am to 11.30am each Saturday. People are always made very welcome.
