FAR from being inconvenienced by the roadworks at Copplestone, as someone who lives on the northbound A377, which was closed for seven weeks, we were helped by all the people working and those on barriers and traffic lights.
Everyone was most helpful and as well as upgrading the safety barrier, they dug five proper drains across the road to stop the flooding which has occurred and have moved the red dog mess bin into a sensible place (something the PCC was asked to do last May).
Not an easy village for traffic lights but it was coped with very well indeed.
Let the motorist go another way, ie missing Copplestone!
Finally, let me stress we were told what would happen and for how long and they are completely up-to-date.
