TALKING, or even thinking, about death or dying is never easy and remains a taboo subject for many.

With this in mind a Pop-up Death Café has been arranged in Crediton, on Saturday, February 11. It will take place at East Town Cafe from 1pm to 3pm and is open for people to meet to talk about death in a relaxed and safe environment.

Death Cafés are events that give a chance to get together and share personal experiences; explore and discuss what death and dying means for us, as well as what we may need to consider if we or someone we know is dying.

Far from being morbid, these events are open and supportive and often filled with humour.

For more information about the event, contact Lucy Betts at the East Town Café or telephone Nixie James-Scott on 07974 119 428.
