MEMBERS of the public were invited to an information sharing event on the evening of Wednesday, September 20 at the Boniface Centre in Crediton.

The event, “Ask Us, Tell Us” was organised by Devon & Cornwall Police and was an opportunity for the community to hear more about; Neighbourhood Policing from Devon & Cornwall Police, Scam Awareness from a representative from Barclays Bank, Devon and Cornwall Alert from a Police Community Engagement Office, Migrant Workers by Mid Devon Migrant Worker and East & Mid Devon Community Safety Partnership from Mid Devon District Council.

PCSO Nicola Payne of the Crediton Neighbourhood Policing Team (Rural South) said: "It was a well-received evening with a positive reaction from those that attended.

"It was a good opportunity to share some information and advice and to meet local residents and councillors to discuss local issues."

After the event members of the public were able to meet their local officers and share any issues that they were concerned about.
