LAND Edge Arts, Crediton is delighted to announce that it now has photographs by Paul McLoughlin available for sale in the gallery.

Paul’s skill and perception of what makes a good photograph have been acknowledged for many years and he exhibits widely in Devon.

Paul explained: “I love isolated wilder places where one can free oneself from the pressures and stresses of modern society and I have increasingly gone to such areas of beauty with my camera to try and capture what I feel there.

“In doing so I try to portray something of the emotional experience of a place in a moment of time rather than just a simple photographic record.”

Over the last three years Land Edge Arts has developed a reputation for the variety and quality of the ceramics and artwork that it offers. Support from Crediton people is most important to the gallery but regular customers come from all over Devon and work is sent abroad through its website, as far afield as Australia.

The gallery focuses mostly on pottery and ceramic sculpture, but also keeps a small selection of paintings and artists’ prints such as woodblocks, linocuts and etchings.

Work from all over the UK is featured.

Local makers/artists include Tim Salter, Arthur Homeshaw, Lionel Aggett and Helena Bowen.

From further out in the South West are David Gundry, Clive Bowen, Tim Hurn, Nicola Werner, Rosemary Jacks and Tim Lake.
