CREDITON resident, Peter Beal, has been awarded a certificate of blood donation from NHS Blood and Transplant for his amazing generosity in having given blood on 104 occasions.

In a letter, E Sally Johnson OBE, Interim Chief Executive thanked Peter for his fantastic commitment to blood donation.

The contribution made by blood donors is remarkable and is an enormously important factor for the NHS to provide vital treatment to those in medical need.

The blood donations help to save or improve the lives of many people in their hour of greatest need.
