A GROUP of volunteers worked hard on a very blustery Saturday morning to tidy up People’s Park Wildlife Garden in Crediton.

Yvonne Crone, Kendra Ezekiel and Laura Conyngham braved the elements to tidy and remove docks and thistles in the garden where plants are now finding their own niche and thriving.

The fruit bushes in the wildlife area were also pruned.

The group will meet again on May 11, from 10am to 1pm and are looking for volunteers to help.
