POLICE Community Support Officer David Waring from the Crediton Neighbourhood Police Team has retired.

David joined Devon and Cornwall Police in June 1993 after 15 years in the Royal Navy.

He worked in the control room at Middlemoor Police Station from 1993 until 2008 when he joined the Crediton Neighbourhood as PCSO covering Crediton North Rural (North).

On December 9, David’s last working day, he was presented with a farewell plaque from the Mid Devon Neighbourhood Policing Team by Police Sgt Kelly Saffin.
