A CAR club, which could provide a "pay by the hour" car hire service could soon be run in Crediton.

Crediton Co-Cars, a not-for-profit co-operative enterprise, is the proposal of Crediton Climate Action Transport Group.

It has invited Mark Hodgson of Co-Cars, to a meeting to explain the proposal and how the scheme works successfully in Exeter, Topsham and many other locations.

The meeting will be held at the Boniface Centre on Monday, January 18, beginning at 7.30pm.

Under the proposal the car would be bought by the club as well as insured, taxed, maintained, provided with reserved parking and fuelled! All the user would have to do is drive it!
