TEDBURN Amateur Dramatic Society (TADS) has a tradition of staging some fantastic pantomime’s, and audiences don’t have to wait much longer until the next one.
From Thursday, February 11 to Saturday, February 13, in Tedburn St Mary Village Hall, TADS will present "The Sleeping Beauty", a traditional pantomime full of fun for all the family.
Written by Ben Crocker, the pantomime is directed by Charles Pallot and Debbie Garrish and producer is Linda Bellshaw.
The panto includes two very sexy cats one good, one bad and the funniest Carabosse you will ever see.
It has loads of great comedy including an hilarious musical routine and an enchanting love story over the course of 118 years.
There is a cast of 26 and 10 backstage crew and for the first time for TADS, for a very long time, there will be a live band playing music.
Musicians are: Karen Scott and Vicky Adams (keyboards), Dave Brewer (guitar) and Will Conner (drums). Sound is by Pete Privett and lighting by Clive Adams and Pete Spooner (spotlight).
Costumes are by Cynth Sibley and painting by Sue Latham and Dave and Angela Brewer. Stage crew are Gil Belshaw, Neville Barrett and Gary Dobinson.
The show starts nightly at 7.30pm and there is also a matinee on the Saturday at 2.30pm.
Tickets are priced at £6 for adults and £3 for children under 12.
