IT was a noisy and sticky do when Yeoford Messy Church invited everyone to its Pancake Party in the community hall on Shrove Tuesday.

More than 30 children turned up who scoffed the 90 or so pancakes that were made in double quick time, helped out by the adults who went along.

The cooks, dealing with three pans, were Carol Price and Rachel Taylor. Carol was also in charge with Eleanor Moffatt.

Pancake toppings included chocolate, toffee syrup, sugar plus “healthy options” such as bananas, blueberries or kiwi fruit.
