The second round saw no improvement in the weather conditions but a definite improvement in the scoring with the low round of the day coming from Jonny Rattenbury who, despite recording a quadruple bogey eight on the sixth hole, managed a level par round of 68 to tie with Robin, who again scored a very creditable 75, leaving them both with a total of 150 and forcing a play off.

In the play off Jonny's 74 pipped Robin's 76 to win him the Championship for the second year in a row.
