MELANIE Rice, an independent Body Shop Consultant from Crediton, this week was able to give some products to New Valley Surgery.

Melanie explained: "I’ve been collecting donations on my Facebook page and taken off my commission to be able to donate as much as possible.

"This included face masks, hand creams, soaps, bath and shower gels and lip balms.

"I gave them £90.27 worth of products in all.

" I know its not a massive amount but I think it was enough to show how proud we are of our wonderful NHS! It felt important as our local NHS staff are working such long hours with the new vaccinations going on."

Melanie says she is still collecting as she would like to make a similar donation to the other local town surgery.
