NEWTON St Cyres FANS, the supporter group which raises funds for Newton St Cyres Primary School, sadly had to postpone its Firework Display at Newton St Cyres Recreation Ground on Thursday, November 3 due to the recent wet weather.

Tonight, Wednesday, November 8, the Firework Display will go ahead at the same venue with gates open at 5pm for the display at 6.30pm.

Admission will be £5 for adults and £2 for children.

Food provided by the Beer Engine will be available.

There were many public and private displays locally, the Crediton Choir display over the parish church on November 3 going ahead with some impressive fireworks.

There has also been praise for other organised displays, especially at Copplestone and the Waie Inn.
