FOUR new toughened glass panels have been fitted in the top half of the internal south porch doors at Crediton Parish Church.
The aim of fitting the lighter panels, which have been etched with the design of the church seal, is to make the main entrance to the church seem much more welcoming to visitors.
The original solid panels that were previously in the door have been retained for the historical record.
The doors, like much of the woodwork in Crediton Parish Church, were made by local firm Dart and Francis in the late 19th century.
The project has been funded by part of a generous legacy to the church.
