THE Rev Alison Richardson, previously from a Plymouth Circuit has been appointed as the new Minister for six Methodist Churches in and around Crediton, Crediton Methodist Church and also Cheriton Fitzpaine, Tedburn St Mary, Silverton, Crockernwell and Whiddon Down.

Alison and husband Bob have been settling into Crediton and exploring the area before the official start of Alison’s appointment on September 1.

Alison has many years’ experience and a particular interest in the Cuttack region of India, where she visited.

It is a challenging time for all churches during the Covid-19 crisis and the congregation is looking to her for support and leadership in how it moves forward to engage with the community and its members in the coming months.

Crediton Methodist Church will be re-opening on Sunday, September 6, socially distanced, and will broadcast its Worship on the Web service to attendees through its new Audio Visual system, installed recently during refurbishment, as it has done for many months.

The Worship on the Web service is now going to be available on Sunday mornings at 10.30am (login live), or at the Church (live), or later on its website as a recording.
