ALTHOUGH the weather was overcast but dry, the group of 16 walkers ventured out from the start at Shobrooke to walk over the field to the church and along the road towards Shobrooke Mill.
Following the course of the disused leat along the valley they then paused to admire the banks of snowdrops before resuming the walk back across fields to the start point.
Crediton Walk and Talk group meet fortnightly at Lords Meadow Leisure Centre at 9.45am.
Walks start from the Leisure Centre or nearby and take around 90 minutes, covering about three miles.
Anyone is welcome and walks are free to join. Well-behaved dogs are welcome, as long as they are kept on a short lead.
The next walk is on Friday, March 3.
