A FREE and Fun new Singing Group has recently started in Sandford, for anyone aged over 50 who enjoys the music of The Beatles, the Mamas and the Papas, Simon and Garfunkel, The New Seekers, the old standards like Blue Moon and singing rounds.

Organiser Judi Binks explains: “We have a lovely coach called Sanchia who inspires us with breathing exercises and warm-up routines and we have plans for her to also run a Mindfulness and Life Skills Course later on.

“It’s all free, including refreshments. We believe everyone can sing - no need to read music. Just come along any Friday from 1.30pm to 3.30pm at Sandford Congregational Church Hall.

“We learn new songs each week and can put in requests, so do join us. You’ll be glad you did and we’ll be glad to see you!”
