CREDITON Arts Centre is organising a special concert featuring three local acts for the Heart Marquee in Joseph Locke Way on Friday August 12 at 7pm.
The “Wee Free Men” is well-known to Crediton audiences, having played its particular brand of Cajun and bluegrass-influenced folk at Credfest, Busk It!, Crediton Food Festival, Share in the Square, Firestone and many other venues over a number of years. The band is supported by master guitarist Ian “Slide” Edgar and teenage singing sensation, from Shobrooke, Jess Hampson.
Entry is free, donations welcome.
The Heart Marquee is a community arts and well-being project for the month of August, with many workshops happening daily, as well as performances on some evenings.
